Clara is an LA-raised artist from a Mexican-European family, shaped by a multicultural upbringing and early exposure to global music. A singer-songwriter, musical theater performer, and actress, she first gained momentum with a sold-out debut at The Hotel Café, returning for seven subsequent shows.
Her debut R&B EP was created with Grammy®-nominated producer Greg Manning and features John Paris of the Grammy®-winning band Earth, Wind & Fire. Her single Me Faltas Tú received international attention when Putumayo World Music featured it in nine playlists and selected it as the opening track of their World Love Songscompilation, surpassing 340,000 streams.
Clara has performed at notable events including The Baked Potato, invited by Grammy®-winning percussionist Luis Conte, as well as Comic-Con and a private event hosted by the Mexican Ambassador in Los Angeles. She has also performed her original music on the TV show Mañana Latina (Channel 57.1).
She was featured as a guest soloist with the Pacific Jazz Orchestra, led by seven-time Grammy®-nominated arranger and conductor Chris Walden, joined by an ensemble of acclaimed musicians, at The Aster in Hollywood.
Clara’s jazz album My Sentimental Way—produced by Grammy®-nominated Greg Manning with contributions from Grammy®-winner Luis Conte and Grammy®-nominated Chris Walden—is available on all major platforms.
Her latest R&B-pop single, I Know That It’s You, again created with Grammy®-nominated Greg Manning and John Paris of Earth, Wind & Fire, was chosen by the Recording Academy as the opening track of their Blockbuster playlist on the Grammy® website and Spotify’s official playlist for the month of August.
