Dillan Witherow w/ Juliana Chahayed & Chris Wallace

February 26 7:00 pm PST

Second Stage

Doors Open: 6:30

$15

Dillan Witherow didn’t follow the typical path of a songwriter. Before moving to Los Angeles, he was hauling logs for his family’s timber business in Washington and Alaska — but music pulled him in another direction when he moved to Los Angeles in 2017.

Over the years, he’s built a steady career as a guitarist and producer, playing everywhere from Coachella to Fallon and producing for artists like Laufey, Lizzy McAlpine, and Delaney Bailey among many others in the emerging gen z folk scene.

Now he’s stepping out front with his debut singing EP — a set of songs shaped by love and love lost. The night at hotel cafe will be a night to celebrate that ep and also the years of continued friendship with the Hotel Cafe.

Juliana Chahayed is a 28-year old singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles. With over a social following over 1 million – followers sometimes call her “phone girl,” owing to her signature use of a telephone mic – Juliana has made waves with cozy, nostalgic covers ranging from Radiohead’s “No Surprises” to “Fly Me to the Moon” to favorites from anime and cartoons. Born to a musical family – her brother is Grammy-nominated super-producer Rogét Chahayed, and her younger sister is indie pop singer-songwriter Andrea Chahayed – Julie began singing at age 7, and had a brief run on American Idol when she was just 15, at the time the youngest contestant ever on the show.

Chris Wallace is a guitarist and songwriter from Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania, now based in Los Angeles. He’s built a strong following through his acoustic performances, original songs, and glimpses into his creative process. His playing style draws on fingerstyle techniques and songwriting influences from artists like Tommy Emmanuel and Alejandro Aranda.

Chris combines technical guitar work with honest, reflective songwriting. In addition to performing, he writes and records his own music, often sharing a mix of solo acoustic pieces and more produced arrangements. His music balances precision with emotion, making him a distinctive voice in the independent artist community.
