$10Kat Hamilton is a Los Angeles singer, songwriter and performer. Hamilton has had the artistic trajectory of a chameleon; lending her talents to pop-punk, emo, r&b, hip-hop, pop, and country. After a lengthy career performing under other monikers, Hamilton emerged with her own unique blend of Emo and Americana. Drawing inspiration from classics like Fleetwood Mac and contemporaries like Death Cab For Cutie, Waxahatchee and Dashboard Confessional. In 2018, The talented performer debuted her E.P “The Grey Area”. Her standout single “Bees” was featured on Fox’s family dramedy, Almost Family (2019). Her following release and debut album “Recovery Songs” was released in 2020 to critical acclaim. The album tackled themes of sobriety, mental illness and hitting rock bottom. Recovery Songs was featured in Earmilk, Rolling Stone India, Medium and many other notable publications. In 2022, Hamilton came out swinging with her pop-punky single “Fuck You You Fucking Fuck (Better Songs)” before headlining her own national tour. Shortly after, Kat released her second E.P “I wish this was a love story”. The five song oeuvre spins a beautiful web of Hamilton’s signature Emo-Americana with new elements of radio ready pop. Since then, the prolific artist has become an author. Her debut poetry book “The Things We’ve Lost” was released in 2024 and is available on Amazon. In addition to her solo artistry, you can hear Hamilton singing as one half of the LA based indie-rock duo, Guyville. The duo released their debut album “Girls with Guitars” in 2023: a refreshing collection of pop hooks mixed with indie-rock and country influences. You may have also heard Kat as the singing voice of Rashida Jones in a national Expedia Commercial in 2021 in addition to other national and international ad spots. When she isn’t singing and performing, Hamilton is an artist curator at Writers Round’ Los Angeles. An inclusive songwriters showcase presented at Ivanhoe Restaurant every Wednesday. Kat Hamilton is currently working on more music.
