Hailing from the South Jersey shore, Pat Birk came to Los Angeles with a handful of earnest, story driven songs. After giving the music time to grow in the California sun, he is releasing “Jacaranda,” his debut ep. Drawing on an eclectic mix of folk, classic rock, and indie influences, Birk’s music ranges from plain-spoken and simple, to oblique and mysterious. There is one constant – he puts feeling before flash in every tune, and invites you to get a little closer
