“Shut the f up!” Will Clark’s four siblings would groan as the middle child played a piano cover of “A Thousand Miles” for what felt like the thousandth time in the living room. But as he kept playing covers from YouTube videos, what started as a simple interest soon turned into a deep-rooted passion that would shape his future.
After graduating college with degrees not in music, Will faced a choice: dive into a sales job or pursue his artistic dreams. He initially sought a role as a musician on a cruise ship but only received an offer that wouldn’t start for another year. Undeterred, he took an online filmmaking course, learning more in an hour than in four years of school. This led to an opportunity to work with a band in California, marking the start of his journey in San Diego. With a camera in hand and a growing commitment to his craft, Will began recording gigs while songwriting took a backseat to making a living.
Eventually, Will took the leap to move to Los Angeles to fully commit to his musical ambitions. He pours his life experiences into his music, creating heartfelt songs that resonate with those also navigating pain, heartbreak, love, and personal struggles. His lyrics serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of self-love, an overarching theme that defines both his life and artistry. With a genuine desire to connect and uplift others, Will Clark is on a mission to inspire through his music, proving it’s never too late to follow your heart and face your fears.
