$10B-Side is a monthly music showcase celebrating songwriters and artists from diverse backgrounds. Presented by Both Brain Records and hosted by Juju B. Goode, the series spotlights rising talent in a stripped-down, unplugged, storytelling-driven format with a “B-Side” spirit of intimacy, artistry, experimentation, and alternative depth.

From a multi-generational Japanese family, Brazilian singer-songwriter and producer Erick Tanaka brings elements of his diverse cultural background to create intimate musical landscapes. Sunshio is the culmination of his search for identity, belonging, authenticity, and human connection, as he adjusts to life in Los Angeles. His music features an eclectic mix of organic and synthesized instruments, drawing influence from American Modern Folk, Indietronica, and Hōgaku.

Vietnamese-American singer Kauai45, based in Los Angeles, first gained traction in 2020 with a soulful cover of Bill Withers’ “Just the Two of Us,” which soundtracked over half a million videos and earned support from stars like Hilary Duff and Kylie Jenner. After releasing an arsenal of irresistible covers, he has now begun sharing original music, continuing to blend genres and find his own distinctive sound.

Influenced by a range of genres, Brynne is a Filipino-American, Los Angeles–based artist creating music rooted in honesty. With a background in guitar and bedroom production, his songs often start as rough, late-night ideas before taking shape through layered sounds and understated, almost conversational vocals. His work leans into overthinking, emotional distance, and the tension between vulnerability and control, embracing imperfection as his sound continues to evolve

SRA is a k-alt indie artist based in Los Angeles
Juju B. Goode is an indie singer-songwriter and producer reimagining Korean nostalgia through American grit. From a debut project (now the bedroom-pop classic) Future Boy to his latest folk project Getaway, Juju blends bilingual lyrics and nostalgic feels into stories and songs that take you to disco nights, open roads, and maybe even somewhere within, fusing genres like city pop, classic Korean rock, Americana, and more. With a featured track on the Netflix show XO, Kitty and a DIY West Coast tour, Juju continues to build a community of cross-cultural audiences and diaspora all over the world.
Both Brain Records is an independent label based in Koreatown, Los Angeles, devoted to blending opposites through music, multimedia art, and experiences that reach beyond the eyes.
