Lyd Marie is a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and producer whose love for collaboration, language and travel can be found at the heart of all her creative projects. As the percussionist of Austin’s beloved all female world folk band Ley Line, Lydia has traveled through Brazil, Central America and across the United States creating music and art inspired by cultures around the globe. She now brings her world of experience to her solo project Lyd Marie with tracks ranging from afrobeat and neo-soul to folk americana and pop with stunning self produced visuals to match. A developed songwriter who has worked as a mentor with refugees, young mothers, war veterans and everyone in between, Lydia’s songs are defined by their honest vulnerability.
