Selkie Winter is a Los Angeles based singer songwriter, and lead singer of a four piece indie rock band. Her musical journey began at the young age of twelve, originally utilizing songwriting as a tool to express the inexpressible. Selkie’s sound is best described as atmospheric and transcendental, with emphasis on poetic lyricism paired with poignant instrumentals. Her music is strengthened by the accompaniment of her closest friends, who enrich her performances with warm familiarity. Her new singles “Swimming” and “Desert Sunrise” invite you into her otherworldly realm, and challenge traditional notions of Indie-Folk music.
LA based and Bay Area born and raised indie rock band “Flamango Bay” can be described as a blend of sad indie girl music, boy band, punk band and jazz combo. Fuzzy guitars, innate musicality, and wandering lyrics can be heard on their debut EP “The Fool” released in 2022. Most recently, they released their sophomore EP “Mascara” with Moshi Moshi Records. The EP explores themes of gender, identity, performance, and change through distorted guitars, honest and poetic songwriting, and strong melodies.
