Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Marc Erickson believes music is medicine and has the power to positively impact thoughts, energy and lives in a transformative way. His sound combines elements of folk-rock and psychedelic-pop reminiscent of a vintage rock musical. Erickson’s first release, “We Are The Medicine” is a prayer and an invocation for guidance and protection, reminding us that we are, in fact, the ‘medicine’ we ultimately need. Born in Nebraska, Erickson has called Los Angeles home for over twenty-three years. He is currently in the process of releasing his first album “Animals & Angels”. Erickson is the creator and host of Los Angeles based community gatherings called “We Are The Medicine”, bringing together people from all walks of life to be seen and acknowledged while creatively expressing themselves.
